Sureplan Insurance is a trading name of Quoteline Insurance Services Limited .

How will we use your personal data?

We will use your information to manage your insurance policy, administration, customer service and marketing. We will disclose your information to the insurer and our service providers, including underwriting and claim handlers (this may include disclosing it to, other insurers and third party underwriters).

Sureplan Insurance may contact you by mail, telephone, email or SMS to let you know about any goods, services or promotions, which may be of interest to you.

Your information includes data about your transactions.

We do not disclose your information to anyone other than detailed above except:

• where we are required or permitted to do so by law; or
• to other companies who provide a service to us or you; or
• where we may transfer rights and obligations under this agreement.

We may transfer your information to other countries. If we do this we will ensure that anyone to whom we pass it provides an adequate level of protection.

From time to time we may change the way we use your information. Where we believe you may not reasonably expect such a change we shall write to you. If you do not object to the change within 60 days, you consent to that change.

How is your information secure?

We have procedures and firewalls in place to safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access and improper use. We will not disclose any information, which could identify you personally without your permission unless we are legally entitled or required to do so (for example, if required to do so by Court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime). You will be treated as having given your permission for the processing of personal information relating to you (including the disclosures) referred to in this privacy policy.

We may store some information on your computer when you look at our site. This information facilitates your use of our web site and ensures that you do not need to re-enter your details every time you visit it. We and other organisations may use credit or insurance reference agency and fraud prevention agency records, about you to help make decisions about you for Motor, household, credit, travel, motorcycle, and other insurance proposals or validating claims (including, but not limited, to the Claims and Underwriting Exchange register run by Insurance Database Services Limited), and money laundering.

Dealing with other people

It is our policy to deal with your spouse or partner who calls us on your behalf. If you would like someone else to deal with your policy on your behalf please let us know in writing. If at any time you would prefer us to deal only with you, please inform us immediately.
